In case anyone (no one) was wondering as to the title of this blog/site thingy, here we are:
Donnie Darko is one of my favorite movies. I love how I can spend an hour and a half of my time being simultaneously confused and heavily entertained, with flashes of revelation interspersed. In the movie, it is said that “cellar door” was quoted to be perhaps the most beautiful combination of words in existence. While I don’t know what this means for society, humanity, and the universe as we know it, I do know that I have spent an inordinate amount of time contemplating the significance of this notion.
So I have come to the point of opening my Cellar Door, my underground palace of inquiry, to the better public for criticism, challenge, and no reason to not.
